A message from Matt was retrieved from the Central Campus today.
The note read.
Madie,
Hope everyone’s doing okay.
The fight did what we needed it to do. They don’t seem suspicious of me.
I can move around most of Central without anyone paying much attention. A few areas are guarded and off limits. Haven’t found a way into those yet.
Tell Tony I found the Runt. Saw him today, but I couldn’t get close enough to talk to him.
Wrestling and cage fighting are a big deal here. People challenge each other all the time.
When we’re not working, we’re training.
I’m keeping my head down and learning what I can.

I was relieved to hear from Matt. At least we know the plan worked, and so far, no one at Central suspects why he's really there. Finding the Runt is good news too, especially for Tony.
Still, I can't say I like the part about cage fighting and people challenging each other to duels. I know Matt can take care of himself, but he's surrounded by Boulder's people with no one there to back him up.
It worries me.
