Journal Entry 29

Another Community meeting was held, this time to decide on the fate of Xavier Boulder and his remaining goons. It was a very loud and tense meeting.

It was decided that the jail was not a good place to house Xavier Boulder and his goons. It's a good location for people if they only need to be held a day or two but not for a long stay. A long stay would require the inmates to be taken care of daily. No one, including Bear Country, wanted to take on that responsibility.

A motion was brought up to simply unalive the former Central Bobcat leader and his goons.

Hemy objected to the motion. She walked to the front of the room. As she spoke, she did not deny the Boulder was a bad person, and that he hurt many people while he was the leader of the Central Bobcats.  As she was giving her speech, she mentioned Xavier Boulder was one of her older brothers. I was shocked to hear this information and so were many other people.

Rather than execute her brother and his goons, Hemy asked the town leaders to vote on banishing them instead. Should they ever return, the sentence would be death.

The vote was 6 to 4 in favor of banishing Xavier Boulder and his goons. I didn't expect the Dirt Bike Knights or the Blue Monarchs to vote in favor of banishment.

I personally don't think Xavier Boulder is redeemable, and I believe releasing him is a big mistake.
